Golden Comets

Golden comets are a brown-egg laying breed which have been bred from crossing a New Hampshire rooster with a White Rock hen. They are one of several crosses known generally as ‘red sex links‘ and can be sexed by the colour they hatch out as chicks. Golden comet male chicks hatch out white whilst the girls will hatch out more of a brownish red colour.

    Nice they look just like the ones I purchased a week ago , so far gotten three eggs. Wonder how long to keep them penned up before maybe letting them roam the yard. Leo B
